INTERNAL MANAGEMENT MEMORANDUM NUMBER: 6C1-6.130-4 (Revised)

SUBJECT: IFAS; Compensation for County Extension Faculty

The Florida Cooperative Extension Service, IFAS, will establish and maintain a County Extension faculty position to exclusively serve a particular county only if there is joint financial participation for the salary and other expenses of that position between the Florida Cooperative Extension Service and the Local Board of County Commissioners. In the case of a position being funded through a special grant, joint funding between Florida Cooperative Extension and a local Board of County Commissioners may or may not be required depending on the terms of the grant.
