SUBJECT: UF/IFAS Senior Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources Invited Lecture Series

IFAS has established a new IFAS lecture series entitled, "Senior Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources Invited Lecture Series." The intent of this lecture series is for the Senior Vice President to host regional, national and international speakers of interest to IFAS. As a part of an ongoing plan to enhance the visibility of our scientists, showcase IFAS programs and invite world renowned scientists to experience the UF campus, this lecture series will be reserved for highly specific invitations. Those invited will be hosted on campus for a few days of interaction with IFAS faculty, staff and students and will be invited to present a provocative and leading presentation from their field of study. Nominations for potential lecturers should be directed at any time through unit leaders to the Senior Vice President's office along with a justification for consideration of the individual nominated. All travel costs and an honorarium will be covered jointly by the Senior Vice President's office and the sponsoring unit.
